The GW Women's Basketball (1-0) trails Morgan State (0-1) 40-34 after the first half of play in their home opener against the bears. Morgan State has dominated from behind the arch going 7-15 for a total of their 21 points.

The first half was marred by turnovers and poor shooting by the Colonials.  The team looked sluggish as they took the court. The Colonials shot just (14-36) while MSU was (15-29)

The Colonials would finish off the half strong coming back from a 12 point deficit at one point in the first.

Brooke Wilson coming off a strong game is leading the team in points shooting 5-6.
