Applications will open until Tuesday, January 19th at midnight. We are looking to fill the following positions:
- Production Director - oversees all productions, understands what it takes to produce content, and helps his or her producers turn in content by deadlines
- Program Director - uploads content to the loop and decides program order, look and feel of Channel 6
- Operations Manager - responsible for managing GWTV's equipment and the equipment shared with SMPA
- Personnel Director - liaison between the executive board and general body, responsible for communication between the groups by way of the list serve
- Promotions Director/Publicity Manager - produces short commercials/promos for GWTV as well as short underwriting/PSA packages, both airing on Channel 6
- Business Manager - responsible for managing the budget, funding and all other financial ventures
- Web Editor - updates and manages the website
Looking to produce your own show? Producers do not go through the Executive Board application process. They go through a pitch process that will be explained at a later date. Producers who went through the pitch process last semester and have been greenlighted along with producers going through the pitch process this semester will attend a production meeting catered specifically to their needs. Producers can apply for e-board positions! Most E-board members in years past have also produced shows for GWTV.
You must be an undergraduate student attending GW for both the Spring 2010 and Fall 2009 semesters in order to apply for a position.
